A lot of my friends are into forex trading aside their day jobs. But they do it only part time. They tell me that it is a very potential source of income but as for me, I'm still pessimistic about how much one can earn from this trade. I prefer being a sales affiliate at click bank or Amazon, but online forex is so new in Nigeria yet people are talking about huge profits say one can make $1000 in a week by just investing $200 for a start. How much can one really make under certainty doing forex in Nigeria or elsewhere in Africa considering the factors involved?

It is a highly risky business. I tried investing $500 some time ago in the deal but lost everything. I;m on debt now even. The demo account may work well for you, but when you start the real trading. it is a different story. I think one also needs a very fast internet connection and not just anyone to do this effectively

$10,000 per month would not be too much, but you have to invest more to earn more. You may have to invest as much as 3000 a month to get there for real.

I've been to a forex seminar and i just started trading. Men, it is really for real. Just have a personal internet connection like starcomms izap of multilinks blue broadband and a couple of dollars and you may soon quit your full time job. The prospects are high. i started with just $300 and have already made $1000 in two weeks. I think the main problem people have is that there lack information or knowledge. Those who are capable of learning new things would find it possible to succeed with forex trading online. Try finexo for a start

Forex can be tricky and so you should e careful about how to go into it. There are many reasons why people lose money doing this kind of business and i would give you 5:

"1. People don't understand the market - Most people operate under the assumption that forex trading is easy. After all, it's just one currency versus another, isn't it? Sounds very simple, but it's not. The Forex Market is one of the hardest, fastest, and most volatile markets in the world. You need to invest some time and money in learning how this market operates. Start by getting a good Forex trading book.

2. Operating on the tips of friends and strangers - People are always on the lookout for tips on the direction the forex market is taking. And you know the terrible thing: People operate on the tips of not only their friends, but also complete strangers, all of which haven't got a clue as to how the market really works. Operating on tips isn't trading. It's gambling.

3. Paying too much fees - People don't shop around for the cheapest trading platforms and brokers and end up paying huge commissions on every signal and action. Shop around and negotiate every fee. Don't be a sucker and waste money on commissions.

4. Succumbing to emotions - People buy when it's high and sell when it's low, this is the rule of the market. The reason is that people panic when they see their investment going in the wrong way. They end up making bad decisions which minimize their profits and maximize their losses. Try to detach yourself from your emotions and let your logic make your decisions for you.

5. Working without a Forex Trading Software - Forex Trading is a global business which operates 24 hours a day throughout the year in multiple markets. It's virtually impossible to operate in this market without a special Forex trading software. All the serious traders have such softwares. In order to enhance your chances of making a lot of money, get one for yourself.

If you're making any of these 5 mistakes, stop right now and start taking the right steps to make a killing on the Forex trading market."

There has never been any better time than now to engage in forex trading, with the falling Naira and the re-emerging stronger dollars, now should be the time to quit your naira based jobs and start making it online. Just try trading with a forex broker and you may see the difference in a few weeks

Slow internet isn't the prime reason for losses suffered by many. The real reason is limited knowlege and bad money management technique. How can you invest $200 and expect to even make $1000 in a month. This is not gambling. Treat it as a normal business. Risk a little amount of your capital, b/w 1- 5% and you will stay long in this business. I advise people to start with at least $5000, after demo- trading for a while with good result. Always have a plan, few or no indicators, simple price action, forget about news trading and you will win.

Right now I have several good brokers that are meet all my requirements and are Nigerian traders friendly, and Alpari is the best of them. They opened a branch in Lagos.I started with trying to find a broker with convenient money input and withdrawal and I don't want be a sucker and waste money on commissions, so I choose a broker with a minimal spreads. I’ve been trading for a three month, thought I am just a newbie with 3 months experience but i really satisfied the felling of working on yourself and to earn money! My profit result for today is 1200$. But without teaching you will lose all money you started with. Try free seminar, alpari-micro or demo for a start and a good Forex trading book of course. And you will win.

It's quite difficult question how much u can earn. it's up to u only. But make u no start with trading on live account straight. Learn on demo first.
Much also depends on ur broker. I used to trade on Alpari UK platform but when Alpari came to Naija i tried with them.
What can i say? Good way to refund ur account. I paid cash - and saw my $ in my meta trader on 5 min, i also paid through the bank - they refunded me account in 2 hours.
they have nice trainer - he gave me good advices on trading systems.

Hello everyone,

If forex trading is to risky for you, then why not become an affiliate and promote a brand. This is a great second revenue stream, to maybe help you trade or do whatever you wish to do with the money.

If you are interested and want to know how it works, then drop me a mail.

Thanks

Paul

How much you make in forex depends on your capital and expertise. I suggest you get a good robot to trade for you especially if you have a daytime job.
